UltraHinge is a story that began many years ago.
What brought us together was a shared passion for modern technologies — specifically, their application in lightweight, foldable structures. Step by step, through trial and error, we explored technical possibilities and refined the design elements of various solutions. The result of our work is the world’s first foldable photovoltaic awning: ULTRA PV.
As a team, we have many years of hands-on experience in both the architectural and mechanical industries. Among us are award-winning professionals recognized for the best revitalization and adaptive reuse projects. We also take pride in having completed over 200 photovoltaic installations.

Solar Energy Expo
The premiere of the awning took place between January 16th and 18th during the SOLAR ENERGY EXPO. It was there that visitors could see the Ultra PV awning live, in its UH1 version, measuring 385x250 cm and delivering 1.7 kWp of power.
The booth prepared by ULTRAHINGE was designed to showcase a photovoltaic roofing system supported by two pillars, complete with a fully arranged demonstration space. The main attraction, of course, was the awning itself — which was folded and unfolded during live presentations, allowing attendees to see exactly how it works in practice.
Visitors also had the chance to relax and unwind in a terrace-like zone filled with greenery, offering a moment of rest in a comfortable and inviting setting.
